Fully automated system using a Raspberry Pi
« on: April 11, 2018, 04:09:02 am »
Hi,

I've put together a system over the past couple of years with the intention of fully automating the brewing process using a Raspberry Pi.

It can take the XML recipe from  Beersmith then fill the kettle, do the mash, boil, chill and ferment. All under controlled conditions.

My philosophy is to share absolutely everything that I've done (hoping it may help someone else) including making the software open source. Hence the reason for posting here.

To that end, I created a personal website http://brewnode.co.uk/index.php/photos/photos-2/ that documents all of the brew gear, plumbing, electronics and software. Please feel free to take a peek.

I am currently working on getting all data gathered during a brew automatically uploaded to the site with nice graphs of temperature etc.

Cheers,
Dave.
