not that i really know anything about this....

My LHBS just opened up their brewery attached to the HBS (Dry Dock Brewing). It seems to me like they are raking it in: The place is always packed, even in the early afternoon on a Tuesday. They don't serve food, just beer. Their beer won a gold and silver at the GABF.

Anyway, i say go for it. It takes balls to do something so risky but you never know, you may be great at it and have a blast doing it. "If you find a job you love, you will never work a day in your life."

Good luck to you.

Homebrew and Hydro! That's gonna be a favorite combination for quite a few folks. No wonder they're doing so well! ;)

My LHBS is also a hydro supply store.   I've seen some very questionable cash transactions  :o, but there are also a lot of legitimate indoor gardeners who shop there.  We only have 3-4 months of good gardening weather up here anyway, so you can see the appeal.
