Wins for AB Inbev?
« on: July 09, 2018, 08:47:04 pm »
Edit: Forgot to add the links, I'm getting good at this.

Thought this was interesting, the guy seems to think AB Inbev is doing well. I think Cali sometimes overestimates the amount of influence they have on people outside of California. Maybe this bartender joining the show is a bigger dear for Californian brewers, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone even talking about the show.

I think maybe the best part is revisiting the interview linked with Meg from Golden Road on beernet. Seems a whole different story she was telling versus what Josh Noel wrote about with regards to Goose Island.Really going to have to grab his book.

I thought it would only be a matter of time until there were breweries that were maybe struggling enough to not boycott some of these festivals. Maybe I'm wrong on that though, according to the numbers Flying dog grew last year. They've been more willing to break from the rest of craft beer on some issues though.

Toaster pastry/Bourbon Stout/Expensive bottles-I'd love to hear from a brewer how big of a deal those beers are to their bottom line. I always figured with the added cost and limited supply, the big beers are more of a draw than a direct money maker. More of a sell a flagship at the taproom when you pick up a bottle or spread the word about my brewery kind of thing.
