Well no actual brewing this weekend. Going to bottle my Midas Touch clone I brewed a few days ago. Thought kegging but bottles just seemed right for this one, easier for me to ration out. Which hopefully I can take this to the TN Brewfest to pass out. (Well I guess I should have said hand out, better choice of words.)

No brewing this weekend, but I will be visiting some locals in NYC and Philly.  Looking forward to lunch at Kraftwork in Fishtown Saturday.

If SWMBO concurs, I'll be doing a double-dog-dare brew day on Sunday:

Brew 1: Fetchez la Vache - a Biere de Garde - Mash in at 9:00; boil by 11:00
Brew 2: Vader - Cascadian Dark Ale - Mash in at 11:30; boil by 1:30

Gotta have some fall/winter brews on tap!  ;D

Decided to brew Sunday instead of Saturday b/c it will be nearly 10oF warmer and a lot more humid Saturday.  Brewing the Surly Furious clone from BYO.  Other brewers I know will be brewing the same recipe.  Next month we'll be filling a 55 gal. bourbon barrel with this and dry hopping it in the barrel.  This will be our third and, very likely, final brew in this barrel.  The barrel is getting long in the tooth.  :-\

Wee heavy will be brewing.  Racking one of my IPAs(S-05) into the keg.  Hopefully the 1450 IPA finishes as well, if not, time to pitch more yeast. :(  Don't know what happened there.

Going to brew another pale ale on Saturday.
The same one I did with the toasted flaked corn , but I am not going to toast  it this time.
I have been fly sparging, but I think I am going to try a batch sparge this time.
Last brewday was a long one, it's hot out and I want to see if I can really save some time by batch sparging

I've done double brews the last few times I've brewed and it's not so bad, once you get the rhythm figured out.

I've got an IPA to bottle that's been dry-hopping for a couple of weeks. The gravity samples have been tasting great.
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

Chimay Blue Clone, Black Butte Porter Clone and an American Brown. These will be twilight brews to avoid the heat of the day.

No brewing :-[.  But I am filtering and kegging a cream ale, dry hopping a pale, and kegging a raspberry blonde.  I still have my work cut out for me I guess.  Just completely re-did the kegerator today.  Next weekend a late oktoberfest is on deck.

I will be brewing a CDA today.  I just got done bottling a Belgian Wit and a Newcastle Clone.  I'm thinking of brewing a Porter next weekend.

Going to finally brew my long planned version of Denny's RPA.  Probably not over the actual weekend but Monday or Tuesday.  The mother-in-law will be here then to assist with the new kid so I think I'll be able to break away and get it done.

Just brewed up a 3 qt starter for it tonight in my brand new 5L Erlenmeyer flask.  That thing is fantastic.

Fermentors are full--so obviously I need to package!  I have a maerzen that is about ready to come out of hibernation, and an oatmeal stout might be finished by tomorrow.
