Anybody else find it kinda amusing that this was in Bamburg?

So, I think I heard they lost 30 tons of malt.  That's  a lot, but it's only 1200 bags.  Doesn't seem huge.
Life begins at 60.....1.060, that is!

So is 30 metric tons one batch on a kiln?  Sounds like production wasn't even interrupted, just a couple of tour groups.

I was spending some time in Bamberg that night. Not big news the next day.

They have had fires before.

Weyermann has another facility that produces light colored malts (Pils, wheat). Bamberg does the specialty malts.
