Using a corny keg for priming and dry hopping
« on: September 16, 2018, 08:19:32 am »
Hi everyone

Looking for advice.

I use a 5 gallon CO2 purged corny keg for secondary fermentation. I cut the dip tube about a half an inch short, and inserted the tube into a hop filter that I drilled a hole in. I also have a spunding valve as an airlock. When it is ready, I cold crash and transfer under pressure to a purged serving keg.

My question is - can I also prime with priming sugar at this stage?

All thoughts appreciated
