Another March pump question
« on: August 12, 2010, 04:55:31 pm »
I'm looking at my pump and the screws holding the head on. I'm pretty sure I can replace this if broken, however can the head be removed for cleaning? Any special thing to consider when removing the head of the pump?

I dropped my March pump and broke the head. I ordered a new head from Williams Brewing and had no problem removing the old one and putting on the new one.

I've had to take mine apart a couple times to clean and they are pretty simple.  The sticky wort sometimes causes them to get stuck.

Just took mine apart. Wouldn't pump. Hop fibers build-up. Very easy.

Thanks!

Love the avatar euge.

I'd just be careful not to lose any of the screws and to tighten them uniformly like a rim on a car when reassembling.
