India Pale Lager category for NHC?
« on: January 31, 2019, 09:24:59 am »
If selected to compete I am considering entering an india pale lager. Where would you guys enter a beer like this? Specialty beer? The flavor and aroma hops are definitely NOT noble, so I don't think any of the Pilsner categories would work.

Because of their limited intelligence, they never came close to guessing that they were making champagne.”

Decide based on what it's tastes like.  When I make an IPL, it's pretty much indistinguishable from an IPA, so that's where I'd enter it.
