It's not a popularity contest, it's beer!

That is a shame.  I was long partial to that one, kind of the grownup in the room, with a uniquely balanced and trustworthy tone.  Then again it looks like the last issue I picked up was almost a year and a half ago.   Oh well they just would have squandered my money.

I saw Jeff Alworths blog on this earlier. A little sad.

Never heard of it, sorry it had to end that way for the people involved. I am very glad that there's more room than ever for beer and brewing related content in zymurgy, byo, beervana, etc.

Any recs on articles to look for in this magazine?

I could say it's too bad but honestly I can't remember the last time I read an issue. It was one of the first beer publications I read (along with Draft) and liked it for its mix of content. I gave it up along with most of my other magazines a few years ago because I didn't have time to read them.

Hopefully somebody will buy the brand and relaunch it (along with Draft) as a useful digital resource.
