Fermentation
« on: November 01, 2018, 05:30:01 pm »
Let me ask the community a question regarding fermentation timing. Let's say I have a 10 gallon brew system and a large enough fermentor to accommodate 2 times the volume of wort produced. Is it possible ( I "think" it is)to brew 10 gallons one day and start fermentation and then brew another batch the next day or even the 2nd day then add that second batch along with an additional dose of yeast to the same fermentor? Would the addition of fresh wort invigorate an already healthy fermentation where I wouldn't even need the 2nd dose of yeast?

If fermentation going, don’t worry about additional yeast or O2. Many commercial breweries practice this.
