GABF - Members Only Session Question

I'm a rookie making my way to the fest Saturday and want to attend this session as I see tickets being sold on 3rd party sites. Do they verify if you're an actual member or not? Last thing i want would be to spend the money and get turned away at the door. Let me know, thanks!

In that case I'd look at it like car insurance: technically you're "required" to have it, but what are the odds you'll get pulled over?
