Another recommendation for Great North.  Rob and Lisa are former homebrewers who are making some great beer, as well as being great people.

It was mentioned earlier in this thread. With the conference less than two weeks away, can the AHA finally reveal where next year's conference will be? Even give us a hint.
Well...I woke up this morning and I got myself a beer

They are getting better about keeping this from leaking out.  I read something from a couple years ago about possible location, but nothing recent.

Next years homebrew con will be held in a city whose name contains a vowel.
Some day we'll look back on this and it will all seem funny

Yeah...Cleveland, which would be great for me. It's a future possibility, but not next year. I think they're still wrangling with some laws to make it happen. The AHA is getting better at staying mum about the coming locations. They have to have a weak link somewhere.

Well, I have been vocal about the conference not being held in the South in over a decade (“out” is in the name) — despite a quarter of the organization’s membership who live in the South — and then a cpl folks said I’d be happy with the next location ...so I am looking forward to the announcement.

There are many excellent reasons to pore over the Jul/Aug issue of Zymurgy.

I might even be able to talk my wife into going next year

It has been published in Zymurgy, as Dave Carpenter said.

Hmm, it's actually closer than Providence,  Google Maps says I could walk there 2 days faster... seriously, might be my best shot for a while.   Will see what I can do.

Happy for you, BrewBama.   Squeaky wheel gets the grease once a decade?
