Kolsch.

Dang humidity. This is life in the South. The beer is crystal. Tastes great too.

Weyerman pils malt single infusion at 145 @ 1.3/# for 60min; all German hops- magnum, saaz and hallertau for 22bu at 12*. US-05 as yeast. Tastes like a kolsch to me.

Sounds and looks great Euge!

Thanks This beer is so good the kolsch glasses are needed to slow me down a bit. It was ready at three weeks.

Powdered time and lagering.

Mandarina is daughter hop of cascade. GL uses cascade in their Dort gold. Figured I'd switch it up. It's small % at .5oz.

No finings on this one.

Are you quitting on the gelatin usage then? I'm trying to reincorporate it in very small dosages, like 1/2 tsp in 100mL of RO water for 5 gallons; see if I like the results...

I'm scaling back to 1/2 tsp myself (on beers that need it). Curious to see.

I imagine it won't drop it clear as fast but hopefully accelerate the clearing process anyway...

How's the clearing ability at 1/2 tsp though, Ken ?  Notice any difference ?
