My Munich Helles @ a month-ish. A tad more clearing left, but it's close. It's a hard style to leave alone.   ;)

Still pretty green (~4 weeks out of the mash tun) but the carbonation is getting there (bottled with Red Star Premier Cuvee) and the flavor is quite good!

Pretty dark for the style. I can taste some slight effects of letting the temp get to 68-69 a bit too quick but the heat and the flavor should mellow a bit with some time.

All in all I'm happy!

That coaster sure does look familiar....This is my experimental beer that will be heading to Jim shortly.
I would get the Massachusetts coaster but the beer would fall off too easy. The Hawaii one must be a real PIA.

Lol. Nah. Hawaii coasters are for beer flights. The Big Island coaster for the big beers, Maui for Hefs, Oahu for IPAs, etc. It could work.

Thanks, Paul. Subtract a few SRM - way lighter in person.

None - first time ever for helles for me.   91% Weyermann Pils, 5% chit, 4% carahell. WY 2124 - had it on hand. 16.5 IBU HM/60, 1.5 IBU HM/15.  145F/60, 160F/60.

I'm sold on similar. No Vienna ...all pils and 3%carahell. I also liked the 82%pils and 15% kolsch malt with 3% carahell.

Yeah I think mine is too malty (not pils) - too much Vienna.  Next time pils, carahell and maybe a smidge of caramunich
