Pics of recent brews?

3G 1049 OG 1007 FG
100% Weyermann Pils
18IBU Liberty @ 60
WLP838

I ran out of Whirlfloc before this batch and was a little worried. I used Gelatin in the keg and the beer was brilliant after 1 week in the keg. It's very humid here and difficult to get a pic before the condensation forms on the glass.

Great looking beer. It's hot as hell today and the perfect beer for a day like today. Pretty much a helles, no?

Pretty much a Helles. I have had very few actual German Helles. I have found a few. But this certainly tastes in the ball park of Helles beers from stateside breweries. I need to go try Keith's unfiltered Helles for more research  ;)

Looks awesome!  Gotta love gelatin.

My first real attempt at a lager. A simple Pilsner. Not much head to it. It deflates pretty fast. I photographed it warm to prevent all the condensation business. It's hot and humid here.

It is quite refreshing and light, but wasn't as clean as I hoped. Overall though I'm real happy with the results.

9.5 lb Pilsner Malt
1 lb Carapils
.4 oz Challenger (8.1%a @ 60 min)
2 oz Hallertauer (4%a @ 45 min)
.75 oz Orange peel @ 15 min
Cry Havoc WLP862

Beautiful pics. The oils from the orange peel probably are the culprit with the foam. Looks good anyway.

Good point. Forgot about the oil in those. I've got a coconut imperial stout that I'm just putting into the keg today. I imagine I'll be lucky if there's any head at all on that.

Looks great. I like the Cry Havoc yeast. It can have a nice cherry ester when fermented warm.

Ken's North German Pilsner, original recipe I got from him. This one was a gusher, rest have been great. At least I finally got head like in his pics

My best dort ever. Creamy foam that hangs forever. Can't wait until August to brew this again and throughout the fall/winter.

Great looking foam!  I hope to have foam like that on the O-fest I'm brewing Sunday.

Man, I could eat that with a spoon! Beer ice cream anyone?

1968 Best bitter, 1318 Best bitter, (the two were a spilt batch) and my American (pale) Mild. The mild is still getting clearer, the other two have hop haze from the Saaz I keg hopped them with.
Corn is a fine adjunct in beer.

And don't buy stale beer.
