Bohemian Pilsner from last year.  Was still lagering so it had not fully cleared yet.

Vienna Pale ale dry hopped with liberty and simcoe. A bit too malty for a pale ale but delicious nonetheless.
On Tap/Bottled: IPL, Adjunct Vienna, Golden Stout, Honey Lager
Fermenting: IPA
Up Next: mexi lager, Germerican pale ale

Thanks, Paul and Jon. It's one of my favorite styles and, of course, it has to be one of the hardest to brew...

Goschman, is that straight up vienna in that?

No there is 9% honey malt in there as well...kind of a long story. Next time I will be splitting the amount of Vienna with 2 row to reduce some of the maltiness. I will adjust the honey malt in the future batches if necessary. It's a shame to have to change it since the color is so nice.

Thanks! I like my pale ales more on the 'balanced' end of the spectrum which makes it difficult for me to get them right.

It has great hop flavor but the magnum bittering charge may have been too small. Stylistically, I think it would be in the overlap of pale and amber ales. Too malty for a pale, too much hop flavor for an amber...

Looks pretty good anyway !  There's a place for beers like that. There's brewing for comps and then there's brewing something good that doesn't fit neatly in a category.

That really is beautiful.  Love the pure white foam and its texture.

Indeed. I don't care for a lot of their beers but the 471 IIPA was my introduction to hoppy beers and I still like it.
