German pils @ 5 weeks. It's really good even at this age. Finally nailing down the pils I've wanted.

Azacca/Cascade APA. Really like the combo. This one will not last long.  :)

Yum.  For both.  Pale ales are great to have on tap.  Of course, I'm interested in all things Pils - care to share any grain bill, hop and water details?

Thanks, JT. Always!

97 Barke Pils
3 Carahell

1.048
1.009
IBU - 36.1  Schedule -  20.3 IBU Magnum/60,  8.5 IBU HMitt/30,  7.2 IBU HMitt/20,  1 oz HMitt flameout (no whirlpool)
2206 @ 48F, spunded

42 Ca , 80ish SO4 (total), 55ish chloride

Edit - I used to go all pils, for pretty much ever. The carahell, along with the FG and hop schedule, just works.

All pils makes a fine beer, but I'm digging small additions of Munich too.  Just tried Carahell too, in my Kölsch.  Initial samples tasted nice, figure I'll draw a pint of it tomorrow and see how it's coming along.  I see it being good in a pilsner for sure.

2206 is a solid yeast.  Not sure why they don't list it for Munich Helles, but I'm going to brew one with it shortly.

Funny, for a long time I used small amounts of Munich or CaraHell,  and recently I've gone back to preferring all Pils! I'm sure the pendulum will swing back again eventually.

Thanks gents! A little outside my box but I am very happy with it. Very bold for a 5.4% beer. Considering pushing everything up and just making it a red ipa next.

Fest-Ale (1057 OG)
82% Pils, 18% Munich I
Mittelfrüh @ 60 & 10 (28 IBU)
California Ale Yeast

I am really enjoying this one. Very clean. Maybe not as crisp as a lager but great taste none the less.
