You ever have that beer that is pretty damn good?  Just a simple grain bill, simple hop bill, but the whole exceeds the sum of its parts?  I hate to see it go, but I can tell, she’s about ready to kick. Tschüss Amarillo Pale Ale. LOL

Well I hope you're as happy saying grüß Gott to the next once you've said tschüs to this one -- assuming you speak German to all your beer!  And yes, that, to me, is the very definition of good beer. Why beer is such a sublime gift.  A few simple ingredients, one malt, one hop, water, yeast, transmuted into something beyond.  Cheers.

That's the best type, easy to make, easy to drink,  easy to enjoy, sad to see it leave so soon..

Looks good. Did you brew a beer and then add lemonade when pouring or brew it all together? I have never made one.

I added about three tablespoons of lemon and lime zest to the primary, after a vodka soak. I would likely go with more lemon zest next time, maybe a 2:1 ratio with a total of four Tbsp. Maybe more.

Enjoying this tap list.  Helles lagering in the basement and German Pils in the fermenter.

Certainly.
It is an evolution for me as I brew and adjust, so here is what my next Alt will look like:
49% Weyermann Pils
49% Weyermann Munich I or a blend of I & II
2% Carafa Special II

30ish IBU German noble hops (or similar) first wort.  Spalt, Hallertauer M, Tettnang, Saphir, Perle, Saaz.  All should work fine.
Sometimes I add a later charge around 15 minutes, sometimes not.

Imperial Dieter Yeast
Ferment on cold side of range 60° - 62°
