Pics of recent brews?
« Reply #3420 on: January 17, 2020, 02:38:17 AM »
It’s fast and it seems to take a back seat allowing the hop flavor to come thru. I don’t get any esters or yeasty flavors.

I averaged 65*F but I did hit 67*F a time or two.

However, I did only get 72% AA. ...but I believe that is process.  The same process where I get the slight haze.  I have an idea or two to work on that next brew.

Edit: ...and maybe I didn’t give enough credit to the bad light and condensation. This is the same beer on a ~30*F day. Crystal clear. Just how I like em.

My RIS.  This batch had 35# of grain for an 11 gallon batch.  It's damn tasty.  Even my IPA loving wife enjoys it!

That is a beaut of a RIS.

In one picture, I see a nearly drained pot of coffee, a strong beer, and some pills.  Look, Goose, if there's anything you want to talk about, we're here for you...

Seriously,  that is a very nice looking RIS.  I can almost taste it just from the color of the lacing!

I was meaning to talk with you about this Rob!  ;D.  I am still LMAO on your comment!

Fortunately, those are my wife's pills, but I plead guilty on the nearly drained coffee pot.

American Wheat.
Lots of things right with this beer: good body, nice foam and lacing down the glass, Motueka gave a nice citrus aroma. Very clean and crushable.
Except...the Sorachi Ace left an unmistakable dill taste that is best covered up with a slice of lime. If I was playing gin, Sorachi Ace goes into the discard pile while I pick up Southern Cross.

Festbier! It's drinking really nicely, after about 5 weeks in the keg. Details at my blog: https://andybrews.com/2020/02/07/holiday-festbier/

Tapped the Olde Dog ESB to drink while watching the Great American Race. Give em hell 9. (Even though it’s Chevy).
