I'm not certain if it's the background lighting that is giving a false sense of color but regardless, that color is fantastic looking!! Beautiful looking beer and the clarity is spectacular.
When the brewer gave me the recipe I was a little disappointed because this is an unusual and off-the-map recipe for a Vienna.  But I had a number of these at the brewpub and figured it was worth trying.  There is about 10% CaraVienne in that beer which I would ordinarily never do with a Vienna Lager.  It's giving the beer a color that would ordinarily not be associated with a Vienna.  My normal recipe is close to Jamil's... pilsner, Vienna, Munich 2 and some carafa.

Session ale, roughly in the blonde ale beerspace. It's drinking super easy! Details at my blog: https://andybrews.com/2021/06/05/easy-days-ale/

Thank you for the kind words! I enjoy blogging, partly as a way to keep my brewing notes organized, partly as a way to share my brewing with my dad (who lives in another part of the country and is also a homebrewer). I'm pretty happy with how the beer turned out, too...it was a fun experiment!

Holy Jeebus, that is beautiful.

Here's a Munich Helles... Best Malz Pils, Weyermann Vienna, Hallertau hops to about 20 IBUs, 2124.

Nice looking pints, gentlemen.

I stopped at my local Aldi this week so I am having some Wernesgruner tonight while I brew...
