thanks man - work has been more hectic recently - thankfully not to the detriment of brewing, only posting!

Looks awesome, Paul. That's a beer to lose a couple liters to.  ;)

Carabrown and Caramunich make for a pretty fetching amber, I think:

Thanks, it's just 8% carabrown, 8% caramunich III, and 1% midnight wheat. It really is that red. On the rebrew I'll pull both those down to about 6%, it's a bit unbalanced as is.

That is nice looking. What base malt?
On Tap/Bottled: IPL, Adjunct Vienna, Golden Stout, Honey Lager
Fermenting: IPA
Up Next: mexi lager, Germerican pale ale

Thanks, it's Crisp Maris Otter. I think it contributes some orange hues that make it pop.
Maris Otter looks as good as it tastes!

Nice, Bryan.

Do you guys fine with gelatin or how long does it take for your beers to drop bright? Lately, it seems like my  beers have been taking over 4 weeks to clear. It's kind of annoying actually.

that is one incredible looking festbier.  triple decoction?  would love to review the recipe on that one.

as for clarity, my lagers drop bright pretty quickly.  In fact, I kegged a mandarina pils last weekend and it was nearly bright going into the keg already.

ales, it can take a while longer, in which case i sometimes use gelatin if i want it crystal clear right when i tap it.

Yeah, amazing looking beer. I'll bet that keg doesn't last long.

I don't know what I could do differently to get them to clear better. I use Bru'n water with RO to adjust, I get (as far as I know) a good hot and cold break as well.
