A Belgian pale ale...I've never brewed this style before, and it's kinda growing on me. I'm also surprisingly proud of this beer -- it was submitted as my club's entry for the "Bragging Rights" competition at the Southern California Homebrewers Festival last weekend in Temecula, and won! I was truly bowled over by this...I had never made the style before, and thought my take was OK, but nothing exceptional. I guess I was wrong. :-) I may have to brew this again sometime soon...I gotta say that the Belgian Ale A yeast from Omega Labs was super nice, with a restrained fruitiness and a pear quality that absolutely sang for this recipe.

The recipe was inspired by one on the AHA website (a silver medal winner from 2019 -- https://www.homebrewersassociation.org/homebrew-recipe/bens-belgian/)...I modified it heavily for my own attempt.

My recipe and such are at my blog: https://andybrews.com/2022/05/08/winner-winner-big-surprise-belgian-pale-ale/

A session pale ale. Around 3%. 5# 2 row, 1# amber rye. Centennial and cascade. Really drinks like an English ale with American hops. Fun and tasty.

Nice looking Cream Ale! That's a favorite beer for me. I assume you us flaked corn?  I have a cream ale on tap the malted corn that turned out great.

My Thirst Degree WCIPA
Just kegged a few days ago and couldn’t wait to try it!! Hopefully it clears up in a couple of weeks. Tastes pretty good but will definitely have to add more hops next time!

Just tapped my Saison.  Still a bit cloudy, but it will clear in a few days and a few pours.

Thirst Degree WCIPA. It has cleared nicely. Def happy with this recipe and grateful for the input from a few peops on here. Definitely will make again but will bump the dry hops up 50%
