I’ve had much fun making lighter lagers over the past few years. I can drink several and be in good shape the next day. Not exactly NA, but on a relative scale, similar result. They can be quite flavorful.
Looks great. What’s your favorite low abv recipe?
Keep it simple - for a 5 gallon Lichtbier (Pils ) I will use 5-7 lbs of Best Pils (depending on abv sought), 1/2 lb Weyermann Munich I, 1/2 lb Platinumswaen Acidulated Malt, 1 oz Magnum FWH and 1 oz Hallertauer Mittelfruh at 10 min. Starting with RO and add 3g of CaCL2 and CaSO4 and 1 g Brewtan B. 90 minute mash at 146-148, mash out, 30 minute boil. For a Helles styled Lichtbier, I will sub in Carahell for the Munich. Cheers!
