Definitely well photographed…but Ken also shares his recipes freely.  They are well crafted.  Cheers.

I wanted to thank you for showing us the beer in its natural environment so to speak, with emphasis on environment rather than the brew itself! While the liquid is great what it adds to life is greatest. Cheers!

My Dunkel on the lighter side of the SRM scale, which was what I was going for. Trying to recreate a beer I had some years ago at a German American Festival Weihenstaphaner Tradition. Not sure how close it is, but it is tasty.

thank you, lol i guess dunkels are generally pretty standardized recipes, im just hoping to have mine slightly darker and slightly more bitter. might lower the IBUs carefully to 30 though.

Truly gorgeous, my friend.  Such a beautiful color and excellent clarity.  Bravo.

I was happy how this German Helles turned out. It cleared quickly with biofine.

This is my Veteran’s Day beer. I call it Olde Bailey based on a suggestion by Tommy. Bailey was our Shih Tzu. We got her the 2005 Veteran’s Day weekend — 17 yrs ago. She passed a cpl months ago.

The Bailey is also the Criminal Court in London. Fittingly, I felt I needed a British style for the name.

It’s a British Golden Ale featuring 4th Annual Veterans Blend hops. This yr the blend includes Idaho 7, HBC 630, Ekuanot, Azacca, and HBC 472.

From the sales proceeds this year, YCH will be making a charitable donation to K9s For Warriors, whose mission is to provide highly-trained service dogs to military veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury, and/or Military Sexual Trauma.

Bailey wasn’t a service dog but she did help my wife with her TBI.

Cheers!
