gorgeous!  I'll have to think to take some shots of my beers but I usually forget to not drink them before I make it to the camera  ;D

Hey, that beer is so frickin' clear, I can read one of my posts through it.

That one is all German malt but not the one you are referring to which is in the fermenter and is hopefully getting kegged this weekend.

The pic is German Pilsner, Munich, and caramunich with el dorado and azacca hops. Disappointing hop character but nice looking and reasonably tasty. It is brilliantly clear which doesn't happen for me that often.

Well looks good, and bet it tastes as good as it looks.

I think I was a bit light handed and used a 1:1 of azacca to el dorado without really considering. The el dorado overpowers. I don't think I am a big fan of el dorado but if I would have upped the azacca it probably would have turned out better.

I wondered if that might be the case.  El Dorado is definitely strong. I think 2 Azacca : 1 El Dorado would balance out better. I'm not a fan of El Dorado as the dominant hop either. If it's a keg you could always add some more hops in a paint strainer bag.

I had considered that. I did not have any of those hop types left so I decided to just roll with it since I was trying to feature those. I could have bought more but was disappointed so I just cut my losses. The keg is almost kicked with an oz of each in there. I suppose I should just call it an amber with the decent malt character and strange sweetness imparted from the el dorado. Again, not a bad beer and it has actually grown on me. Just not what I was expecting...

Just bottled mixed berry hard cider yesterday.  From a kit, I bottled 55 glass and one 16oz plastic tester, I just love that red color.

My latest Simcoe/Mosaic APA. Done with Golden Promise and some Best Malz light Munich (no crystal), all the late hops in whirlpool, O2 high krausen pitch, gell fined at 30F, final pH was 4.4 so I adjusted in the keg to 4.3 with 10% phos. Basically all my favorite new tricks. By the time I got my camera some condensation set it, but it shows the idea at least.

Jim, how much 10% phosphoric does it take to drop the pH by .1? And how much of a flavor difference do you notice between pH 4.4 and 4.3? Nice looking beer, by the way.

Its not linear. Butt so far about 10-20ml of 10% phos will drop .1 and the difference of .1 can be pretty dramatic.  Or I suppose it could be unnoticeable.
