Dortmunder that's a little too Munich-y. Has 22% Munich 8L in it...probably cut back a little next time. Still quite tasty though. Sadly, it does not have "it".

looks great-could go for a dort....think I will do that at Happy hour 8)

Nice work. How do you feel it tastes for your first lager? My first was okay, but I definitely didn't brew it as well as I do nowadays.

EDIT: That's funny, Ken asked the same question about taste. :)

It is passable but isn't as good as what I had in Germany last summer which I will chalk up to process.  It is 98% Munich 2 and 2% Carafa 2.  I had a few brain cramps brewing and my mash PH was 5.2 opposed to the targeted 5.5.  I will be brewing V2 of this is a few weeks once my Helles is complete.

Another shot of my "Dortmunder", that, personally, I think is a bit too malty for the style.

Thanks! Great brewery tour. New Glarus is one of my favorite US breweries.

oh man that looks tasty.  one of my favorites is Long Trail Ale, which looks a lot like this.  it's on my bucket list to replicate that one.
