White Wheat Wonder

I used citra hops and I absolutely love this stuff. The only thing I will do different next time is I will use a higher white wheat to 2 row ratio.

Just kegged two of my lagers brewed on 11/17/12. Hopped with Amarillo and fermented with S189 it has exceeded my expectations. The lager is bright but needs to settle some. Tomorrow it'll be crystal.

Amazing how the flash just made it look worse in the low light.

Very cool.  What have you got there with the S189?  I have some slurry waiting for some ideas.  I am thinking a hoppy Helle-ish, but not committed.

Interesting on the flash shot, and the change it makes to how beer looks in photos!

I guess I should now add to this threads intent.  No flash, but background sun.

Thanks. The funny thing is that that's a 12oz glass next to a 2L! The perspective of scale is deceiving.

A bitter rye? Also looks like a red ale to me...

Some CL40 and a couple ounces of pale chocolate; I guess it could be a red ale...

but it tastes like a bitter rye. ;)

Matt, I think I will give it a try.  I will be subbing Mittelfrueh for the hops and using WLP830 for the yeast though.  May even do it this weekend.  Thanks.
