Helles with 99% Viking Pilsner and 1% Carafoam. Hallertau at FWH and 10 to 24 IBU. 1048 OG. 1008 FG.
My first use of S-189. Very tasty beer. Dry clean with a bit of sulfur. Subtle hop flavor. Mild bready malt flavor.
S-189 took a long time (5 weeks in fridge) to clear. I tried it way too many times a long the way and I thought I did something wrong. Yucky yeast flavor. Once it cleared its excellent beer. I don’t cold crash or use gelatin.
