Today it's a "Pub Ale".  2-Row, British Crystal, Northern Brewer to bitter and Goldings late.  Delish.

Damn that's a pretty beer!

Nice.  How did you get the red color?  Looks excellent.

Caraaroma and melanoiden are what gives it the red color.

Good thing Scottish Export 80/- doesn’t call for a specific hop. My version turned out mediocre with 27 IBU(s) of Willamette so I added 2 oz Mandarin Bavaria cold dry hop and it made a really tasty beer. So… we’ll just call this an AL 80/-

That looks great.  I generally like fresh Willamette but a shot of MB as a dry hop?  Yes, please.  :D

American Lager with Magnum, Citra, Amarillo and Azacca hops. Tasty at 6% ABV. Used Fermentis S-23 yeast.

Thanks it turned out well. It was all grain and dry hopped with citra at 38F. Used a floating dip tup and the beer was clear in about 20 days. I think I'll brew again in this summer when it is hot and dial down to about 5%.

Call me nutty but a 6% beer with Azacca, Citra and Amarillo doesn't sound very "American Lager" to me but that's just me.  :D  It sounds great and looks great but I was surprised when I read the description.

It's not a traditional American lager for sure. The OG and ABV was higher than I expected when I brewed on the Anvil Foundry system for the first time.

American is hoppy and it’s a lager. :)

Beautiful beer, and it sounds delicious. Any corn or rice in the grain bill?

I've had a few "American Lagers" that are brewed by craft breweries and they definitely can't restrain themselves on the amount of hops and the type of hops... often Amarillo or Citra and usually more than your standard NAIL.  They seem to be able to restrain themselves on ABV, usually coming in between 4.5% and 5% but it's certainly not your dad's American Lager.  :D  This tells me that you're thinking like a craft brewery owner.
