Any recommendations for a decent grain scale?

Any good digital kitchen scale will do fine as long as you don't care about weighing all your grain in one go -- they usually max out at 11 lb/5 kg, and once you tare your bucket, that's under 10 lb of remaining capacity.   But I just use my kitchen scale and a 2 gallon paint mixing bucket and weigh my grain in two or more lots, dumping each into the mill hopper as I go, so I don't have a redundant piece of equipment that just gets used on brew day.  (If you don't have use for a general purpose kitchen scale, ignore this post.  I'm sure somebody can recommend a good high capacity scale.)

Thanks. I have one similar to that but I'm hoping to find something bigger that can accommodate a big bowl or something large for the grain.

That looks like it could be overkill, and has a minimum readable weight of 6 oz, which makes me wonder what the resolution is... but it has one feature in common with my kitchen scale I'd really recommend looking for:  the display/keypad can be moved out via cable.  This makes sure a big bowl or bucket won't eclipse it.  I don't have a link because it's one of the rare items I didn't buy online...

Good question. I assume the "0.0" button is for the tare function.

I use the ultraship ultra 55. You can get it through morebeer!, and it can weight lbs for grain, ounces for hops, and grams for yeast. That covers everything I need. I've checked its accuracy with all and am pleased with the results.
