Big Brew Day
« on: May 03, 2019, 03:25:05 AM »
Anyone going to a Big Brew Day event? My club is having one. I think there will be 5-10 brewers and a few other guests coming to check out homebrewing.

I will be brewing the Transatlantic Blonde. I am looking forward to it.

Y’all should post your event: https://www.homebrewersassociation.org/aha-events/national-homebrew-day/

I hope y’all are going to be inside. Tut, tut, it looks like rain.

May the 4th ...be with you!

Hosting one with my club at a brewery in town (Obed & Isaac's in Peoria if anyone wants to come). Everyone else in the club went with the blonde, so I'm brewing the milkshake IPA. Hope it turns out ok, I had to make a new BIAB bag, changed my diptube in my kettle, brewing in a new location...Might bring some out the Homebrewcon though.

I'm just trying to wrap my head around a picture allegedly staged in the South showing boxes from Dunkin instead of Krispy Kreme.  ;)   Seriously, kudos to everyone who participated today.  (I brewed, just not part of Big Brew.  Regular size brew.)

Exactly, but the Dunkin Donuts were far from popular. The fried chicken went fast ;)
