A couple new toys to play with.
« on: September 10, 2010, 01:00:07 pm »
On old pizza place in tow was shutting down, and I picked up a 10 foot wide, three basin SS sink with returns on both sides.  All one unit.  $100.   It's very cool, and I will be pluming it in this weekend.  And then I found a full sized chest freezer on Craigslist for free.  Woohoo.

Maybe now I can "forget about a keg" as I hear some of you doing.......

Ron, I picked up a normal double basin SS for $20 at a recycling place.  But one like Mic is talking about was $600 at a used restaurant supply place.

I'll have to keep that in mind.  Thanks for the tip Denny.

I don't know...how do you know?  Maybe because you bought one and are starting a brewery.  :-\

The double basins are a little harder to come by used, especially one with a drainboard. Most places use 3-basin (wash, rinse, sanitize). It took me about a year of searching for a 2-basin with drainboard, but I finally picked one up off CL for $150.
