I LOVE electric brewing.
« on: July 11, 2019, 10:12:57 pm »
I have now brewed numerous batches now on my new SSbrewtech electric Brewing system and just wanted to say how much I love it !   So easy and fast to hit temperatures and keep everything stable. I feel completely comfortable walking away while things are heating. My garage doesn’t heat up to 110° Because of two burners going, , etc...  one of the best purchases I have done.
I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.

Amen to that! I love being able to brew in the comfort of my kitchen and not deal with the hot Summer and cold Winter temperatures outside.
Beer is my bucket list,

I just got my brew-boss a few months ago, have used it a few times now and feel the same. I love it! Between that and the hoist I put in, brewing is so much easier and enjoyable now.

Big +1 here. It's  going to be 95+  and humid here tomorrow, but my basement electric brewery area will be a temperate 70 degrees all day. Plus, I'm  guaranteed not to run out of propane :-)

I'm looking at getting back into electric brewing. I actually ran all electric for a long time at Yellowhammer (3 bbl home made system) and the only issue I ever had with it was cleaning the elements. Which was not a very big deal looking back now but for some reason I hated it back then.

Electric brewhouse is a great choice for homebrewing.

Scaling it up to commercial setting is not such a good choice. The monthly electric bills will do you in.

My solar panels offset 5 gallons a couple times a month.  :)

Have a few batches under my belt now on my new BrewHardware 3-vessel electric HERMS system with an Auber BrewBuddy 1 controller, and love it.  I use a nylon bag for the grain, and I replaced the Blichmann autosparge that came with the setup with a LocLine recirculation sparge ring for a continuous mash in.  I batch sparge now as well.  No more hauling equipment out of the basement to the back porch and no worries about bad weather.  Bobby at BrewHardware was a big help too.

+1 for me!  I am in Iowa so brewing outdoors in the winter can be harsh to say the least.  I love my electric setup in my basement.  It takes the worry and stress of what the weather is going to be like out of planning a brew day so I can focus on recipe design.

Count me in! Brewing in my cellar where it is around 60 F. Got an electric space heater, my Bose sound system, and a comfy chair. What could be better than that.
