I made a citra/amarillo pale ale for Christmas, it was out-freaking standing.

Sweet, good to hear.  I can't wait to get mine carbed up!

Nice head shots u-makinme-thristy :D

I made an american wheat beer last year with 100% citra.   Called it "no lemon needed"
Turned out really nice - got a silver medal.
I'll post the recipe later...

Wow,  fantastic, I am really digging the Citrillo blend.

Mine was pretty close to Fred's Amarillo pale ale recipe
1.055
IBU to 51,
1450 yeast

even mix of Amarillo/Citra 6 ounces from 15 minutes on down,
dryhopped ounce each.

Interesting I get no real harsh bite, perhaps the hopburst.

Marble brewery out of Albuquerque has a citra pale ale that is outstanding.  Highly recommend it, if you can get your hands on it.  Very balanced, one of the best pales I've ever had.  http://www.marblebrewery.com/index.html

Served my citra/amarillo wheat down at the brewery today and evreyone liked it but me. I just don't care for this hop much at all. Guess it is a personal thing. Same flavor to me as that "mango fruit tea" flavoring at "Nothing But Noodles" or whatnot. I hate that stuff.

Mango and tea sounds about right to me. I think it works best blended with other fruity hops like simcoe or nelson sauvin. I used it successfully in a black ipa with simcoe, cascade, and sorachi ace. The only flavor I could detect that wasn't perfectly harmonious was the slight tartness from the 1028 (back IPAs are way better with American-style yeasts, IMO).
