Annoying ads in Tapatalk

Used to just see an intermittent banner ad, at the top, of John Palmer's ugly mug or some such, when viewing the forum in Tapatalk.   Last few days, there are a lot of non-brewing related ads interspersed in the topics.  Anybody else seeing this?  Any reason?

I just thought I remembered something a while back about AHA having some agreement wuth them over what ads would appear here.  I could be misremembering.

I don't see any ads, but purchased the pro version for $2.99.  Worth it for ad free IMO.

That's it.  Is that a new development for you?  Did you previously just see brewing related banner ads at the top of the index pages?

Tapatalk Pro is now $9.99 on the App Store now and the description doesn’t mention ad free as a feature. It may have changed.

There is an in app purchase option for ad free: $0.99/month, $9.99/year, or $14.99 forever.

I don’t know when they started. It seems like I didn’t used to get them but I cannot tell you when I started noticing them.
