Hmm, it's actually closer than Providence,  Google Maps says I could walk there 2 days faster... seriously, might be my best shot for a while.   Will see what I can do.

Happy for you, BrewBama.   Squeaky wheel gets the grease once a decade?

Looking forward to playing "hot chicken chicken" with y'all!

Beer is like porn. You can buy it, but it's more fun to make your own.

Ooh, hadn't thought of that.  Never been there to face the real thing!  Another good reason to try.

I figured so... or I wouldn’t have been told I would be happy once announced. I wonder where it will be in 2033?

We can hope that by then we'll get enough state laws rationalized that there will be a lot more flexibility.   That still seems to be the biggest hurdle.

Not sure if anyone is in need of a ticket but I have one I bought for my wife who can’t go now $200.
Here’s to cheating,stealing,lying and drinking
If you must cheat, may you cheat death
If you must steal, may you steal a woman’s heart
If you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love
If you must drink may you drink in the moment

T minus 48 hours.  Nice not having to spend a day for travel this year.

Look for us at the Seacoast Homebrew Club booth on Club Night.  A couple of our members have entries in the finals, including me (although I'm not serving that...a cider)

Well, I have been vocal about the conference not being held in the South in over a decade (“out” is in the name) — despite a quarter of the organization’s membership who live in the South — and then a cpl folks said I’d be happy with the next location ...so I am looking forward to the announcement.

There are many excellent reasons to pore over the Jul/Aug issue of Zymurgy.

Dave, when do you anticipate the conference presentations audio/video files will be posted on the AHA site? (Barring any unforeseen human error this year)

Hard to guess a precise date. Last year they were delayed, but in previous years I believe it was around late July to mid August. It'll be in the What's Brewing newsletter when they're ready to view.

Searching thru my email, the last newsletter it appears I’ve received was 2017 50 clone beers. I clicked on the ‘manage subscription’ link and entered my email address. Hopefully, I will get these newsletters regularly now.

No wonder I feel like I don’t know what’s going on in the AHA.

Glad you're back in! As Zymurgy only publishes every other month, the newsletter lets us engage with members more frequently.

I got one of those newsletters this morning.  It always seems to be a bit behind just regularly checking the AHA website on matters like that, but it is nice to feel kept in the loop.  And it gives heads up on deals and events.
