Most mellow hop

What I'm looking for is a hop to use in a very short boil or 195f steep to give a bit of mellow bitterness and mild "hoppy" flavor as opposed to extreme citrusy/piney/fruity/herbal flavor.
Basically something that says hops were used but you can't really tell what kind.

Hallertau. But if you add only a gram or two I'd guess any hop addition wouldn't add much flavor.

If you can find it anywhere, Glacier is the mildest hop ever.  Otherwise can't go wrong with Hallertau or other German noble hop.

LOL. Now those are some mellow hops!  LOL.

That reminds me of Denny’s NHC presentation when he said he realized he hadn’t added his hops when he was finished boiling. His experience paid off though: he simply added water to get him back to pre boil volume and started boiling again.

chinaski might have nailed it. Tettnang is a very underestimated and somewhat neglected hop nowadays.
