I was wondering if someone had tried a kettle sour using a converted hop rocket (with a coil) will the heating coil kill the lactobacillus during the recirculation to keep temp.

As long as keep the temperature under 110*F, it should be fine. It also depends on the lacto strain because some are more effective near 80-90F.
