try putting it in where you wrote "i'm a dry blondie"  such as "i'm a dry blondie from -----"

Well I made a compromise even though one should be able to have both personalized text and location concurrently displayed.

I just put mine in the signature line.  I think it's sort of silly for the forum software to ask you to enter your location and then not use it.

Nope, didn't work. For some reason it's saying I'm from New Jersey.

I agree, maybe there should be a check box for you to "display location" and then it would automagically get included from the location field instead of the personal text field.

And a "check here if you're Denny" option that would calculate and display your lat/lon.

I feel your pain. South Florida isn't exactly a beer lovers paradise either. An oasis or two here and there, but thats about it.
