The BeerSmith Forum use to have a button called “Kudos”. Which I really liked. It gave readers an idea into the value of a contributors posts. The kudos number would build and would follow the contributors screen name. So, in other words, if the Kudos number was high (thumbs up 👍🏼), a reader would get the idea that the contributors offering(s) is more than likely factual and useful. The problem they had, however, was the kudos number could also go down (thumbs down 👎🏼) into negative territory. Which is what happened to a newb who chose to blast other contributors, poke fun at posts and was outright rude. The result: Brad removed the kudos system from the forum because this newb pestered Brad about their negative kudos. The BeerSmith forum runs on the exact same software as this forum, or at least it did - haven’t been there in a long time.
