Most important breweries of the decade
« on: December 22, 2019, 08:29:05 am »

Not sure if I agree with all of these, I feel like New Glarus should be on here. I'm not sure if I'm aware of a brewery that dominates a state like they do.

No question New Glarus should be on there.

This will come off snobbish, but just blurting it out before I think too hard on it:

I think this article is in error.  Those WERE the most important breweries of the 1990s.  What have they done lately, other than continuing to still be kind of important?

They got something else wrong too. The decade did not begin in 2010 it began in 2011 so there is one more year to go in the current decade.

Starts with Sierra Nevada, ends with Weldworks, by the date founded.

Sierra Nevada would get my vote for the Oktoberfest collaboration with a different German brewery each year. I don't buy many 6 packs, but I always get one or more of that one.

LOL!!  Enough peeves to go around!!!  If I'd had a drink in my mouth I would have just spat it out.  I do believe I'll go get one now.  :)
