Wyeast 2308 Munich lager yeast
« on: December 04, 2019, 04:38:25 pm »
So I’m 2.5 hours from my LHBS.  So I guess it’s not really local.  Anyway, without any planning or research, I stopped in the shop while passing through that town to grab some yeast for a bock I want to brew.  I picked out 2308 figuring what could better for bock than a Munich lager yeast.  I’m having some second thoughts after reading some on line reviews.  Anyone used this for a bock?

2308 is an outstanding yeast for a bock.  You did well!  Enjoy it.  :)

I used 2308 for a Dopplebock a few years ago that came out very nice. I think it works great for malt forward beers.
