Freezing dry yeast
« on: April 07, 2020, 04:44:55 pm »
I’m bottling a lager this weekend. Beer was racked into a carboy 5 weeks ago and lagered between 30-40 Fahrenheit.  I usually put in half a pack of dry yeast in at bottling time.  Have another lager ready in 3 weeks.  Can I freeze the open package of dried yeast and use it for next batch?  I’ll wrap it up tight etc.
