WLP400 Fermentation or Infection......
« on: April 26, 2020, 05:55:26 pm »
So guys, I may have my first infection. I thought fermentation was going weird and broke the rule and opened the lid and saw this. Am I overthinking this one or do I have a sour soon on my hands. Belgian Wit w/ WLP400 Belgian Wit.

Looks like a pellicle.  That can be good or bad, but I would wait it out a while (say a month or so) and see what it ends up tasting like.  You may get a pleasant surprise or you may have a dumper there, but don't judge too soon.
