Yeast starter

 Hey HBRewers, big question, I used a previous brew yeast( one time) should have been about perfect for billion cells needed, 17 gals 2 days hmmm nothing, I went got more yeast and made starter, I check the conical the beer is finally aggressive at the blowoff. CAN I,,,since I stared a starter Refrigerate this till next weeks brew.....????? I hate to waste the yeast but no use feeding a aggressive fermentation either. Thanks for any insight
