1469 Slurry?
« on: October 27, 2020, 05:45:28 pm »
I missed the boat on top cropping with a bitter I just made. I have been busy and just didn’t remember to keep an eye on it.
Is the slurry from a top cropper like this worth saving and using?

I've done it several times with WLP037 with good results. If you're just looking to repitch once or twice I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Absolutely!  One loses being able to select the healthiest yeast cells with bottom-cropped yeast, but you can just take the middle head next time.
