As a bay area native, I knew Tasty. We were more like friendly acquaintances than close friends, but we shared beer and conversation (and Tasty's famed baked goods) with each other plenty of times, running into each other at Triple Rock and Beer Revolution or at homebrewing events. My buddy (who knew Tasty better and longer than I did) and I are planning to remember Tasty this weekend by brewing one of his famous recipes. The obvious choices are Janet's Brown Ale and Tasty Pale Ale, but I wondered if anyone had any other ideas about what we ought to brew to remember him. I have also considered his Session IPA (also known as Drake's Alpha Session Ale).
