I'm a solo brewer. At first I tried brewing with my then girlfriend/now wife and she would fall asleep by the sparge. I've let a couple friends watch a brewday but I feel like having people around is a distraction and I didn't enjoy the brewday as much. I've brewed with other people where I'm hanging out and they are brewing which is fine.
