Aurora hop substitute and Darkness

What would make a suitable substitute for Aurora hops? I'm planning out a porter, targeting SN Porter, not looking for an actual clone, but close. Also, anyone tried Imperial Darkness yeast? Just picked up a pack on a whim.

Aurora hops are amazing and very versatile, so if you can, I highly recommend sticking with them. If you want to sub, styrian goldings would be somewhat close, for domestic hops northern brewer would get you in the ballpark as well.

BeerSmith:
Also called Super Styrian. This is a hybrid between Northern Brewer and TG. It has a pleasant hoppy aroma similar to Styrian Goldings but lighter.
Used for: Often mixed with other hops in lagers.
Substitutes: Styrian Goldings

Personally, I would recommend Perle. Perle was the original kettle hop used in SN Porter. I suspect that SN switched to Aurora because Perle became less plentiful. Aurora and Perle were both derived from Northern Brewer.

Thank you. I have both Northern Brewer and Perle on hand. I think I will use a combo.
