Anyone Canning?
« on: November 21, 2020, 06:18:27 am »
I was wondering if anyone who cans has any product recommendations. I keg and have a beer gun already.
I would like to be able to package fairly small amounts so that I can take my homebrew hiking, biking, and to my wife’s family ‘s lake cottage.

Not something I looked into ever but I do like the hiking idea. Quick search on more beer says it's expensive lol I'd probably never do it personally but curious about others who have..

I know Bryan (DieBeerery) cans or has canned in the past. Not sure if he still does or not.

a couple guys in my homebrew club do, definitely a high entry cost but the end result is really cool

I can. I just got new automatic canner but that does not apply for home brewing.

Can and ends/lid supply is in high demand these days.

Thanks Allen. I believe my beer gun would work for this aspect of it. It sounds like not many people are doing this, I may just take the leap at some point and report back.
A can seamer will probably be on my birthday wish list in February as long as I don't find out the cans themselves are too hard to come by.
